Dr. Saad Saad is a pediatric surgeon who lives in Eatontown, New Jersey. He received his medical degree from Cairo University’s School of Medicine in 1971. He has over 40 years of experience in the field. He currently holds a four out of five-star rating with his patients. He received the Patients Choice Award, as well as the Compassionate Doctor Recognition in 2014.
Dr. Saad is currently 72 years old and motivates people all over the world to succeed. He believes that if he succeeded at accomplishing his dreams, then so can everyone else. Dr. Saad was born in Palestine during the time of the creation of Israel. Many families were forced to relocate at this time. One day as his father left for work, his mom received instruction to take her children and board a bus. They didn’t know where they were going. That was the last time they saw their childhood home. Later their father had to track them down. Because his father was a successful petroleum mechanic, he was able to move the family to Kuwait for work. He always instilled in his children the importance of education. Dr. Saad was considering becoming an engineer like two of his older brothers. He even visited a work site with them to only pass out from a heat stroke. That experience changed his mind about the career choice. He decided that he wanted to work in a facility that was air-conditioned. That’s when he decided to become a pediatric surgeon. Once he made his decision, his family supported him. He ended up being salutatorian of his class. Dr. Saad believes that one should not settle for less than the success that they want. There are many opportunities for one to give up or settle for something that seems safe. However, that will not get you happiness. Another life lesson from Dr. Saad is to not put off until tomorrow something that you can do today. It is essential to continue to move towards your goals at all time. For example, once he immigrated to the United States, he aimed to become US Board Certified. Once he accomplished that goal, he became the only pediatric surgeon that was board certified and fluent in English and Arabic. This alone opened up another door to further expand his career. Dr. Saad received a personal invitation to serve as the Pediatric Surgeon for the Saudi Royal Family. It gave him the opportunity to serve all children in Saudi Arabia who needed help. He held that position for close to five years. It gave him the golden opportunity to meet new people and enjoy a unique experience with his family. Overall Dr. Saad is a role model for success. End Citizens United wants people to see they can help get rid of Citizens United. The law is bad for people and good for big corporations. The organization knew they wanted to get rid of the law but they also wanted to be sure people were trying to help them with it. They felt it was their job to give back and make sure people knew they could make things better if they fought against Citizens United. They also felt there was a chance they could make things better if they were helping other people with the issues they had.
For End Citizens United, the point is to get rid of laws that protect and encourage corporations to spend a lot of money on politicians. It creates an unethical problem in the world of politics. It also makes things unbalanced for people who want to change the world around them. No matter how hard End Citizens United works to get rid of Citizens United, they know there will be things they can do that will get better no matter what they’re working on or what they’re doing to try and change the different opportunities they need to take advantage of.
As long as End Citizens United is doing this and helping people with their issues, they feel good about their organization. They’ve spent time learning how to petition and how to make things better for people who also want to get rid of the law that protects corporations. No matter how hard the organization works to help people, they feel they can try different things. They also feel citizens have the right to enjoy their ability to donate and vote for the people they feel passionate about. If they have to constantly fight with corporations who are donating a lot of money, they won’t get that chance.
The point of the United States is to have a government supported by the citizens. If corporations are taking over and spending a lot of money on politicians, there is no place for citizens. When they have to fight all the things going on in the industry, they won’t care about their candidate. They’ll only vote for who is able to provide corporations with the best kickbacks. End Citizens United wants to change this because of the detrimental parts of it. They know citizens will have a better chance at a better life if they can get rid of Citizens United.
