Goettl Air Conditioning announced the completion of a deal to acquire California-based Walton Heating and Air. None of the details about the financial dealings were disclosed, but it certainly strengthens the ties for one of the fastest growing west coast air conditioning companies.
Established in 2010, Walton Heating and Air owner, Todd Longbrake says it was interested in growing the company, and an acquisition with Goettl AC showed promising results. At first glance, Longbrake was hesitant in merging with another company, but Goettl is a family-oriented organization, and owner Ken Goodrich has a stellar reputation. With a mix of qualities, and most importantly, similiar values, Longbrake was convinced that with the merger, the companies could leverage bigger opportunities.
This merger is another milestone for Goettl Air Conditioning. Just a few years ago, Goetll owner acquired the 50-year old company, Moore Air Conditioning, and today they’ve become the primary HVAC company in Las Vegas and Arizona. With this merger, Goettl looks to boost business by up to 50% this year. This also means the company could be adding up to 100 new employees.
Goettl owner, Ken Goodrich has made Goetll Air Conditioning a highly-recognized household name. According to GlassDoor reviews, Goodrich has a reputation for turning around stagnant HVAC companies and he has a very engaged consumer base, especially in the Arizona area. Founded in 1939, in Phoenix, Arizona, Goettl has been around for 75+ years, and has become a staple for A/C problems. In the past, the Phoenix mayor, Greg Stanton praised the company’s history with the community, and they’ve been honored by the Chamber of Commerce.
Recently, Goodrich formed the J. Duncan Goodrich Air Conditioning Technology Program through the College of Southern Nevada. The college offers an A/C technology program for which Goodrich has started an endowment program. The Goettl legacy has been focused on providing the best service and highest quality in maintenance of HVAC systems.
